Dr. Oz Ultimate Cleanse Detox Recipe

Dr. Oz Ultimate Cleanse Detox Recipe
Dr. Oz talks about his 48 hour weekend cleanse and this is his ultimate recipe to rejuvenate and detox your body.  He said that to stay on a cleanse for an entire weekend you really have to enjoy the foods that you are eating or you won't likely stay on the diet cleanse.

Ultimate Cleanse Breakfast Recipe

  • 1/2 Cup Quinoia - Rinsed
  • 1/3 Cup chopped prunes
  • 1/4 Cup rice milk
  • 1 Cup water
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 tsp of ginger

Quinoia is rich in protein and high in phosphorous.  The prunes are high in fiber and sorbitol.  The sorbiol along with the fiber have a laxative effect.

Allowable Snack

Detox Drink - Dr. Oz drank Kale (good for your kidneys).  A ginger drink would also be a good choice because it stimulates bile flow in your gallbladder and liver. Also sliced celery, radishes, or cucumbers (no dressing).

Ultimate Lunch Diet Cleanse Recipe

Dr. Oz wanted to have a lunch that had some substance.  So he made a smoothie that consists of :
  • 1/2 cup almonds or hemp milk
  • 1 tablespoond ground flaxseed or chia
  • 1/4 Cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/4 Cup bananna
  • 1/2 cup ice

  • Side of sauerkraut with sliced apples .Dr. Oz wanted to have something with probiotics (good bacteria) in the recipe.
Nightime routine

You should have eaten dinner by 7:00 PM. No eating after dinner.  Then drink a cup of dandelion root tea at bedtime.  Dandelion is a detoxifying tea.

Take an epsom salt bath before bed.  There is magnesium in epsom salts and your muscles will feel relaxed.
